Committee Meeting being held at Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh on 21st and
22nd of June 2019
The Extended National Executive Committee Meeting of the All India Audit and Accounts Officers
Association is being held at Allahabad,
Uttar Pradesh on 21st and 22 of June 2019. The meeting was held at
the backdrop of recent conferment of Group A status to the members of the
Association by the Government of India. The meeting co-opted shri. B.K.
Upadhyay, as the President of the
Association in the place of Shri Vinod Kumar who retired from service on
31.5.2019. Shri BK Upadhyay is presently posted in the O /o the Principal
Accountatant General (ERSA), Allahabad, UP, as Sr. Audit Officer. The meeting
also co-opted Shri. Harish Kondole, as Vice president, in the place of Shri.
Ashok Channore. Shri. Harish Kondole is presently posted as Sr. Audit Officer
(Sr.AO) in the O/o the Accountant General(A&E) Nagpur
The meeting discussed
latest development on the departmental front especially the issues relating to
benefits consequent upon conferment of Group
A status to Sr.AOs working in Indian
Audit Accounts Department(IAAD) and matters on progress of implementation of
cadre restructuring in IAAD, besides other organizational issues. The meeting
requested honourable C&AG of India to formulate suitable promotional policy
for the SrAO cadre and implement the cadre restructuring in IAAD without
further delay.
